Plaza de Colon: Around this place, there are some restaurants and benches, it’s a good place for relax. There is a pretty fountain with a statue of Christopher Columbus standing up with in his right hand a globe and in the left a flag. This statue is for 400's anniversary (1893) of the discovery of Puerto Rico by him during his second voyage to the new world. At this time they change the name of St. James square to Plaza de Colon.
